Of Elites, Illness, and the Irony of Ultra-Modern Hospitals

I do not pray for anybody to be sick, and when people are sick, I pray to God for healing mercies on their behalf because the good or bad prayers we pray for others would come back to us.

But why is it that when elites are arrested and tried for money laundering, the first thing that occurs to them is to seek bail to travel abroad for ailments that cannot be treated in Nigeria? Why do they wish themselves evil by using their tongues to attract complex illnesses?

It has been revealed that His Excellency, the Lion himself, Dr. Yahaya Bello has also joined the train. Why? Does he not know that the tongue is so powerful that his cover for wanting to travel abroad and his self-destroying prophecy of complex illness may come to pass in the future?

I see it as an irony that Yahaya Bello cannot be cured in the ultra-modern hospital he built in Kogi State. So, what then makes the health facility ultra-modern?

The dictionary defines ultra-modern as extremely modern, advanced, etc. So, if the ultra-modern hospital facility cannot cure his illness, I advise the authorities in Kogi to rename the hospital to a general hospital that treats non-specialized diseases.

My second advice is for Dr. Bello not to be in a hurry to elope to enjoy his other cozy homes abroad. Why run away, when anywhere he is detained in the country would be more comfortable than some five-star hotels?

He should just bear the travail for a little over one year from today. His night of disquiet will soon be over because in 2027 I foresee him deploying his billions to muscle his way into the Senate.
