I am not a prophet, a soothsayer, or a seer

I am not a prophet, a soothsayer, or a seer. I am not spiritual like the ordained men and women of God. But I glorify God for the privilege of sharing my dreams with some medical colleagues and friends in the 90s, predicting the exits of Gen. Abacha and Abiola’s death. I must confess that I didn’t know the implications of the dreams until they happened.

Dream No. 1. I was in a dream sometime in May 1998 and saw a plane supposedly conveying General Abacha for the handover ceremony to Bashorun Abiola.

When the plane landed in Abuja, everybody was waiting for the Late Abacha to alight from the plane. Instead, it was Gen. Jerry Useni that alighted for the handover ceremony.

The following day, I told a few friends about the dream and said,’ Abacha might not be the person to hand over to Abiola. Some mocked. But the rest is now history. When he finally died, they remembered me.

Dream No. 2. Immediately after Abacha’s death, I was in a dream and saw a vast crowd gathered in Bashorun Abiola’s residence. We waited for him to address his supporters and pronounce his acceptance of leading Nigeria. Hours on, he was not coming out. I was nominated to go and get  Bashorun. As of then, I hadn’t had any contact with him physically. I didn’t know where he lived. But I found myself in that gathering obeying the crowd.

Obeying the group, I was led into a room where Bashorun was. I saw him on a beautifully decorated bed. The bedsheet and the tiles were sparkling white. I said to him, ‘ Sir, your supporters are waiting for you to address them. Bashorun Abiola looked at me and replied, ‘Brown, go and tell them I want to rest.’ I opened my eyes, and it was but a dream. I also shared it with friends and told them I feared what would happen to Bashorun. The rest is also now history.

Dream No. 3. Before politicians started jostling for 2023 Presidential tickets,  I was in a dream late last year. I saw that Jagaban was leading a pack of politicians and almost being declared a winner. I sat beside him in the dream. He looked at me and said, ‘Brown, I will decline the declaration because ‘I don’t want them to kill me the way they killed Abiola’ He then held Gen. Babangida’s hand, lifted it, and said, ‘Behold your President.’

I got up from that dream sweating. Firstly, I know Gen. Babangida was not definitely going to run in the 2023 Presidential election for obvious reasons.

Secondly, the analogy he made about the murder of Abiola would mean that the plot against him and our democracy was thick.

Thirdly, why would Jagaban hand over his mandate to a former Miltary Head of State in that dream?

A Comrade once sent me a message on Jagaban’s project. I relayed my dream to Comrade and requested that I meet with Jagaban. He sent me the number of one of Jagaban’s trusted allies to communicate with him. I called the number, but it rang out. I also sent a text message, and there was no reply. I have the text for posterity. I have rested my case, and I ‘Sidon de look.’

There are two other dreams I had that I have also shared with some friends. However, I  won’t share them on any social media platform because of their broader implications.

Grace and peace!!!
