In 2023, my prayer is to see a President and the Cabinet that shall not spend the entire tenure blaming others for the situations in the socio-economic spaces. I hope to also have in Aso Rock and all the Government Houses leaders who could adjust the sails when the socio-economic seas become turbulent and unsettling.
As citizens, we should also apply this quote to our individual lives at home and work. Lamentations about what we see on the economic, social, and political radars cannot take us from the valley to our desired Eldorado.
Let us learn to adjust our sails to rechannel our paths in adversities, knowing that misfortunes are not supposed to consume us but build our resilience.
