Rein in your thugs! NSA, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd) warned Governors for preventing opposition parties from mounting campaign materials and disrupting campaigns of opposition parties.
Nigerians have been killed and millions of assets destroyed. Some political leaders including women! have been assassinated. What a travesty! What a shame!
It would seem to me that we have learned nothing from our past. There are now new waves abd styles of intimidating the opposition political parties. If not curtailed, there could be reprisals in all the geo-political zones.
If things continued this way, Nigerians might not be allowed to freely elect their leaders in 2023. Can the Gen. Abdusalam and Bishop Kukah Peqce Committee and the security agencies act before the said thugs begin to vandalize and corrupt the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS)! We may think this is impossible but the hidden billions that cannot be exchanged by our politicians could become the bows and arrows, and guns to be deployed soon. Just wondering.
