Preaching the need for justice as a platform for emplacing peace is a tough endeavor. Those in the profession of peacemaking and peacebuilding do not make so much from the endeavors as much as the conflict entrepreneurs.
Conflict entrepreneurs have more clients and more rewards because they have more scary tales to make people quake to attract their patronage. In other words, evil pays so much because of the beneficiaries and sycophants, who have the ears of their masters than those with genuine counsels.
It is for the above reasons we have more clients patronizing prophets who see miracles, deaths and miseries than those who teach people how to approach the throne of grace through the application of kingdom principles.
Are you in the business of advocating for justice and peace, and frustrated because you are not seeing much progress? There is always a pay day my friend. Do not join the fray of peace destroyers. Be yourself and kindly continue in constructive and harmonious pathways.
For all justice seekers and peacemakers, be rest assured that history shall be kind to you in due season. Don’t give up.
