United Arab Emirates have great respect for religion. Yet, they innovate, reform and transform, which gives bankability to their systems.
Irrespective of their belief system, the Emirates still found a way of managing religion and business without losing their self-esteem and religious worth.
Besides, though they have a peculiar way of dressing to reflect and give meaning to their religious belief system, they also have found a way of accommodating tourists from the entire global community.
I align with the Emirates’ policy on social tolerance and non discriminatory policies in some areas. However, one cannot earn citizenship by marriage. One also have to be under a Principal to have a right to some businesses.
Irrespective of the borderless concessions and regulations, the Emirates remain one of the most secured environments. They do not rationalize crimes based on tribe, religion or class. From that point of view, I thought religion should not make us less innovative or less transformative.
Almost all our leaders and middle level management staff have traveled to the Emirates. Are there no lessons learned with such trips?
I guess there is something they do differently that we are yet to unravel and the earlier we did, the better.
Happy Sunday and welcome to May, a month of superlative accomplishments for those that believe and work for it.
Grace and peace!!!
