Must we kill to achieve anything?
Has killing in the name of freedom ever brought peace to any nation?
How does siding with evil help in nation building?
We all must side with truth to save our country. If you didn’t stand up against banditary, Boko Haram, violence, killings to force people into agitations for resource control and breaking away from Nigeria, the day you end up in any of their dens in the forest, is the day you appreciate the plight of the victims in captivity, and also realize that those guys do not have friends.
Pray to be alive to tell the story. On the flip side, if you didn’t stand up against injustices, nepotism, corruption, unitary government in the cloak of federalism, and misgovernance just because you are in, or sympathetic to the party in power, the day the maddening crowd decides to carry out a revolution, you may be caught in the cross fire.
Pray not to be maimed, killed or all you had labored for in life ending as ash. Above all, also pray to be alive to tell the story. Head or tail, there is no substitute for standing on the side of truth. It is the only thing that shall stand for you on the positive side of history.
Do so now that God is merciful to keep you alive.
