Predicting the Future: The Call for Action Against Electronic Political Fraud

On December 2, 2022, I advised on this platform saying; “Gen. Abdusalam and Bishop Kukah Peace Committee and the security agencies should act before political thugs begin to vandalize and corrupt the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).” I foresaw the shift from human vote sellers and buyers; to hacking and manipulation of INEC’s electronic platforms.

In that same post, I also opined that “the hidden billions that cannot be exchanged by our politicians could become the bows, arrows, and guns to be deployed soon.” I am sure people did not take me seriously.

Now that electronic political fraud has taken over Nigeria’s political turf, the onus of proof on what happened to INEC’s server and BVAS machines would now rest with high IT Tech companies, forensic experts, highly cerebral lawyers of repute, etc. This will come at no cheap cost. Good luck to those heading for the courts.
