Redefining Politics: The Dawn of a New Era in Nigeria

When I wrote in one of my posts on February 26, 2023, when the election results were yet to trickle in, I wrote that strategic and non-violent revolution engagements can win wars, especially ideological battles. I posited that a new political beginning had commenced. Only discerning minds understood where I was heading to. I am sure all of us are by now reading the handwriting on the wall.

At least it is now official that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that for the first time since 1999, the indomitable Lion of Bourdillon and Jagaban of Borgu was politically humbled in Lagos by the Labor party, which political juggernauts said had no political structure. Labor Party was also said to have won Nasarawa, thereby shredding regional politics’ toga.

The APC won in faraway Jigawa, humbling Atiku’s PDP, which was projected to win that state. What about a sitting President’s party losing to the PDP in Katsina and winning Osun in South West? Does anybody know what all these mean to a new beginning?

As you read this post, I appeal to you to please, hold your breath and patiently wait for the Supreme and Appeal Courts’ judgments after the General elections. Assuredly, many INEC’s pronouncements and declarations will suffer setbacks.

Many political seats declared now by INEC will die and reawaken in new political vistas.

Many political offices already allocated by manipulations will go. Please, do not ask me why.

Fellow friends and family, the time for acting and doing have concluded. The heroes of this movement are the masses, especially the youth.

Undoubtedly, there is still more to do and achieve. Now is the real-time to pray for the revelations of God and what He wants to do with Nigeria. Why so? Because we have many socio-political bridges and upheavals to cross before there would be calm in Nigeria.

Grace and peace!!!
