Unlocking Nigeria’s Potential: Creating an Enabling Environment for Investment and Growth
When Nigeria is ready to attract investors, the Federal and State Governments know what to do. The President and Governors do not need to spend billions traveling abroad to chase after investors. Once we have an enabling environment for investments to flourish, investors will chase after Nigeria.
Days after Aba and the environs got lit up, investors willing to build tire factories are already scampering to Ohanku in Abia State for space.
It does not take rocket science to know that once Nigeria can fix the insecurity and energy crisis bedeviling the nation, Nigeria shall become a hub for industrial and technological breakthroughs in less than five years, and many diasporans shall return to invest in this country.
Professor Bartholomew Nnaji initiated the power plant project, now serving Abians during his years of service to the nation as a minister for science and technology. That is how to serve creditably well.
Let us now begin to interrogate our brother and sister ministers, National Assembly members, and Governors who served in the past to identify one legacy project like this Abia project they left behind in their various constituencies.
Well done, Professor Bartholomew Nnaji for not giving up on your dream despite the challenges from dream killers.
Well done Geometric Power Plant, and congratulations to the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, for setting the pace.
Grace and peace!!!
