Speaking Up Against Injustice: The Power of Mobilization in Changing Societal Narratives
To be silent in the face of infrastructural deficits and humongous stealing from our commonwealth is a sign of guilt, acceptance, and agreement with the status quo.
One may not have control over those in the corridors of power or be able to change the thoughts of those implementing government policies. But one can mobilize people against bad governance to change the narratives and not bring down the government. That is the point of departure between how to change a system for the good of the people and those now confessing and begging for forgiveness for the ignoble roles they played in the 2012 Occupy Nigeria protests and its oil subsidy removal strike appendage.
Grace and peace!!!
