Truth Cannot Be Buried Forever: A Reflection on June 12 and Unfinished Justice

There is an adage that says that no matter how long it takes, a stammerer would always pronounce the father’s name. So it is with historical facts. They cannot be buried forever. They shall be brought to the open someday.

I am convinced that the deaths of the victims of June 12, 1993, who were running away because of the actions of IBB, the murderers of Dele Giwa and Bola Ige, will also be unraveled someday. But if exposed, will the gathering be like that of IBB’s book launch, in which the billionaires and politicians who graced the occasion deodorized him with accolades, or would it be a truly sober reflection?

Now that IBB confirmed what Prof. Humphrey Nwosu’s NEC wanted to announce, i.e., that MKO Abiola won the election but was stopped by IBB and his men, I hope the billionaires and politicians who gathered to honor IBB will also gather to honor Prof. Humphrey Nwosu during his burial.

I believe they will not only attend the burial to honor him but also donate billions to start a political science library in his honor, which the masses can have access to read the true story of June 12, 1993 presidential election.

Just wondering aloud!
Grace and peace!!!
