Not All Greetings Are Love: A Prayer for Discernment in June

My brothers and sisters, do not be carried away by the smiles or greetings of some folks because greetings in all situations may not be a sign of true love. There are genuine greetings from the heart. There are also those laced with envy, venom, filth, hatred, and deadly jealousy.

If not true, Thomas Sankara couldn’t have been killed by Blaise Campaore, his best friend. Efe Onoetiyi couldn’t have killed his best friend, Paulinus Okon, after collecting over N50m from him. Cassius and Brutus couldn’t have plotted to kill Julius Ceaser, etc.

As you go through June, I pray for you that God will give you a discerning spirit to know the difference between lovely and deadly greetings. But remember, the best form of protection that can never fail is remaining under the canopy of God, which can guarantee you safety at all times if you live right under kingdom values.

I also pray for you, that those who present themselves as friends in the open but behind are worse than human spiritual scorpions and snakes shall not come your way this month and always, in Jesus name. Amen.

Grace and peace!!!
