Perspective Shift: Finding Gratitude in Life’s Simple Gifts

Until we listen to the untold stories of others, we always believe our situations are worse than others and, therefore, unable to appreciate God enough.

As you read this post, some people are gasping for breath. They are traumatically struggling to stay alive. They are so distressed and ask God to restore their health and take all material possessions or remove the remaining air in their lungs so that they can have a permanent rest.

Some other rich folks you envy hang on to the strings of life courtesy of life support. That is the free air called oxygen we inhale and take for granted. So, is it not an irony that we can breathe unhindered and yet complain that God is unkind to us?

Someone is bitter with God for things not falling into place as expected. Meanwhile, the person complaining can pass urine and defecate painlessly. Do you know that it is a nightmare for some of those you want to be like, to go to the bathroom to do what you do without stress? Could you let me know if you are still complaining?

Grace and peace!!!
