Seeking Peace in the Middle East: A Call for Negotiations to End the Israeli-Palestinian Face-off in Gaza

My heart goes to the families killed or held hostage in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian face-off in Gaza.

After a week of introspection and heavy heart, I concluded that this war was avoidable. The same thing happened in the case of the politically propelled Boko-Haram in Nigeria. Those dying in this senseless endeavor are not the leaders of Israel, Palestine, HAMAS, or Hezbollah but the defenseless citizens. Sadly, those who suffer the brutal outcomes of wars are loudest on social media saying, “Let us go there.”

Take or leave it; what is happening in Israel and its surroundings can only be resolved through facilitated negotiations.

If the parties do not sit down in negotiations, these flair-ups shall continue until His Kingdom comes.
