Anticipating Change: Reflections on Nigeria’s Current Landscape

My dear countrymen and countrywomen. I have been quiet for a while for so many reasons. I held on to my cheek and tongue-tied because I knew long ago that the 2023/24 season would be uncommon. Recall that on October 13, 2022, I posted right here, saying – “Whoever takes over from President Buhari would wish he never became a President. The issue of subsidy, rail transport systems, banditry, loans, and loan servicing burden will be sour points, which might worsen the state of the economy, increase inflation and push people to the streets. The President we need from among those jostling for the number one office should be a solution seeker and not a blame game specialist because the depth of the rot is deep. Corruption is worse than before. Insecurity is also on the plate, like a diabetic sore that takes time to heal.”

For the spiritual, are you as worried as I am or seeing things differently in the next forty-eight hours?

Grace and peace!!!
