Finding Hope Amidst Political Uncertainties: A Message of Encouragement
Good evening my great people. I know most of us are troubled and worried because of the pen and social media venoms, Nay-sayers, and doomsday prophetic pronouncements oozing from the stables of hitherto respected elites who should be pacifiers and encouragers to mortal people like us.
Besides, the double-speak from some of those we rely on as spiritual guides and the dark political clouds that seem to be hanging over Nigeria because of the just concluded presidential election could melt the steel-hearted. It is not unexpected because we are humans. But I say to you, my friends, brothers, and sisters, that irrespective of our present political bus stop, let our hearts not be troubled. I urge us to remain strong and hold on to our faith because we will survive what is to come.
I remain hopeful because the most-high God does not lie. Jehovah gave us reassurances in the holy scripture, and on his solid promises, I stand.
Secondly, I believe God seems to be preparing us for a new change. If we recall the simple law of recreation, we shall have no reason to be afraid. For example, the seed we plant will usually die before sprouting to give itself back to us as food. So, for things to turn around for the better, they could go really bad. In the process, hearts may pound or fail. But I have it in my spirit that when Jehovah shall be through with cleansing our political stable, a new social order will emerge.
Thirdly, genuine and honest men and women of God still exist. They are on perpetual fasting and prayers for the cup of uncertainties hanging over this country to pass us by. I believe their prayers shall be answered so that His name alone will be glorified. I also think that for their sake, God will not forsake us.
As a people, we must support everything positively. We should give no vent to Nay-sayers. We should not only pray but please, be committed to kingdom ethics, living right, displaying honesty wherever we find ourselves, and believing that we shall not be consumed.
Jesus was not found in a wreck. We, as little gods created in God’s image, shall not also be found in a wreck because we are under his canopy. It is well. Good night.
Grace and peace!!!
