Unity in Diversity: Overcoming Hardship Through National Solidarity

I hope we are not getting to that tipping point when hunger, starvation, fuel, and Naira scarcities shall bring all religions and tribes together under the realization that unless they fight for good governance at all levels, Nigeria will continue to run within the concentric rings of poverty.

A country can only progress through an undiluted unity where your religion and tribe are secondary to your idea of true nationalism. In the 80s, we went through this though in different dimensions. Who says it cannot happen again?

I have seen this twice in my lifetime, and I do not pray to see this again before I say good night. For us to enjoy the grace of God’s abundant blessings planted in Nigeria, the time has come to find common ground not rooted in bigotry to solve Nigeria’s problems. Tribe or tongue cannot, but the Ubuntu philosophy of oneness and respect could. This phase shall pass us by if we know that you cannot be without me, and I cannot be without you.

Grace and peace!!!
