The Power of Silence: Nurturing Aspirations Through Reflection and Quietude

We can use silence to project our thoughts, sow a seed of thoughts, and nurture aspirations. We were not created to talk every second of our lives. The use of silence becomes more apparent if we juxtapose our facial look to mirror God’s intendment on how to use our faculties. If not, God wouldn’t have made one mouth in contrast to the two ears and eyes. He would also not have created a night to rest from the hustling and bustling of the day. Is it possible to think deeply about this and apply quietude to conquer ourselves for the good of ourselves and others?

Being quiet in the presence of the God you serve can be energizing and inspiring. Silence in meditation is to influence and conquer the self. Have you not heard experts say that when you are angry, take a breath and don’t talk?

It’s logical to assume that taking a deep breath and being quiet can be beneficial when nurturing an ambition. Some refer to this as a ‘quiet hour’ or meditation, a powerful tool often overlooked. Try incorporating a moment of silence into your daily routine to nurture your dreams and the positive seeds sown by your thoughts. This quiet moment can help cleanse the cluttered mind and bring about refreshing thoughts, revitalizing dormant dreams.

May your Monday be blessed as you speak less and do more thinking and doing today. Grace and peace!!!
